As a mom of two active little girls, I know firsthand the importance of finding clothing that can keep up with the boundless energy of children. Our family loves spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking, biking, or just running around at the park. As my daughters entered school age, I noticed a shift in what we needed from their wardrobes. The days of princess dresses adorned with rainbows and unicorns began to fade, replaced by the need for clothing that was comfortable, durable, and perfect for a wide range of sports and activities.
This realization led to the creation of Hokuna Active. I wanted to design activewear that not only supports the adventurous spirit of kids but also gives parents peace of mind. The name "Hokuna" is inspired by "Hoku," the Hawaiian word for stars, symbolizing the bright potential within every child. It also carries the essence of "Hakuna Matata," a phrase meaning "no worries" or "take it easy."
